Overweight and unhealthy eating habits; my confidence and quality of my life were severely affected. It wasn’t until the day AVERAGE word made a permanent place in my life that I decided to put down the spoon, switch off the television and Run. Not able to make significant progress in field hockey, sitting in the South Asian subcontinent where being a college pass out and not being an entrepreneur sounds like a crime; matching a balance between physical and mental health is a daunting task. Feeling Insecure and shy about one’s own self, how do you expect a capitalist to buy your thought. Street Shops had no cloth of my size(either they were pushed in), Fashion was just not a statement for me, and all those Magazine columns about lifestyle well I was way beyond the model shown to even think of applying them.
With a Vision in my mind I started and then there was no looking back. From Minor changes like consistent workouts to clean diets I moved on. This day we stand I am a media consultant by profession, field hockey player by passion, excel master by skill and a Freelance Fitness Consultant. Proud of where I stand today I have a chiseled core with no supplementation, a yoga course, undergone CrossFit Sessions, intend to start Thai KickBoxing and am doing well in Field Hockey too.
Weight Loss Tip: Consistency is the key to progression. Workout has to have a presence every day even if it is for 10 minutes. If you can’t go to a gym, use a stepper one day, go out for a quick run or even just do sit-ups and push-ups at home. The thought and Workout have to be there every single day.
