Why did you decided to transform your body?

Dealing with obesity is both mentally and phisically draining. You fight with yourself everyday and just binge, you stop being in touch with society, your confidence is shaking and you are living in a lie created by yourself. You look in the mirror everyday and think of how things would have been if your body was different, but than you realize how things are, and you think there is nothing you can do. It happens that i had a moment of weakness and i just couldn’t take it anymore. I was never serious about loosing weight and i went to the gym multiple times for a short period like a week or so, and than just binge eat every single day. So, it was about time to stop lying to myself, and go for a change.

How do you stay motivated?

By looking back how i used to look, and the way i look now. I’ve been through a lot of changes during that 1 year period, so each one of those changes reminds me to push hard and stay motivated. Being obese and spending a hard working year for shredding 60 kg, your life ideology changes and you aspire for more that you once never even thought about. The fitness community and aestethic bodybuilding are rising really well for the past years, so it became a part of me and i want to try it harder, and have further success.

Did you hit any plateaus during the process? How did you overcomethem?

I had hard periods that lasted no more than 3 weeks/1 month. I overcome the negative energy and once again focused on my goals and gave away on some things, and i also changed workout routine, cutted, bulked etc.

How often do you workout?

I do weights 6 times per week, and Sunday is usually for any kind of sports or cardio, and homeworkout session consisting of abs and push-ups.

What type of workout routine do you find the most effective?

I change my workout routine every once in a while, but its always a special day for large muscle groups, and combined workout for the smaller muscle groups. I often train large muscle groups twice a week, once in a combo with a lower and a day for the muscle group itself.

Tuesday: Legs
Wednesday: Back
Thursday: Chest/Biceps
Friday: Triceps/Shoulders
Saturday: Legs/calves/abs
Sunday: Abs/push-ups (home)

What’s your most favorite exercise?

Anything chest related.

What does your diet consist of?

My diet consist of dairy products such low-fat yoghurts and milk, cottage cheese as well. PB and rice gallets for snack. I do honey/milk/banana shake for post workout.

Egg whites and whole eggs for breakfast, with carbs such as whole wheat bread or oats depnding on the macros cycle. Lunch and dinner: Chicken breasts, tuna, salmon. Tomatos, cucumber, lettuce, brussel sprouts and broccoli are my fav. veggies.

Are you currently taking any supplements?

I rarely take supplements, i only do Whey Protein when im missing protein intake.

If you are going through hell, keep going.

Any advice or tips for aspiring transformers?

Stop telling yourself you are good and comfty the way you are right now, break your comfort zone and see how surprised you will be.
